This year our Easter Youth Volleyballtournament will be held for the 40th time. This tournament is for some clubs as big a tradition as it is for us. For those who are not familiar with this Volleyballtournament, a brief flashback.

On saturday 3 monday 5 of April 2010 the tournament will take place in Sporthal De Boog in Krimpen aan den IJssel.

The 41th time!
The Youth Volleyballtournament was held for the first time in 1969. Every year we have done our best to get the strongest teams possible on our tournament. The result of this is an average level around 1st and 2nd nation division. Our tournament has had some very well known guest over the years. Players like Henk-Jan Held,Edwin Benne, Marko Klok, Olof v.d. Meulen played on our tournament, and some of them won the golden medal on the ‘96 Olympics in Atlanta. Also a lot of players of national women team attended the tournament. The last couple of years the national youth teams of Holland played on our tournement. Foreign clubs of Germany, Denmark, Belgium, France, Italy and the USA visited the tournament during the years.

About the tournament we need to give you the following information:

* The tournament will be played on saturday 3 and monday 5 of April 2010;
* Players on this tournament must be born after the 1st of January 1987;
* It is not allowed to host players of other clubs;
* Bed and breakfast can be arranged at a small cost. Breakfast costs 2,5 euro;
* Travelling expences will not be paid;
* At Saturday evening there will be a fantastic party for all teams
